Ishan Mazumder Makes History With The New Music Video Ekbar Eso

With the release of his most recent effort, Ekbar Eso, actor and singer Ishan Mazumder has raised the bar for Indian music videos. The music video, which was made in Bengali and Kannada, is being praised as the first action-packed music video in these two languages. It tells a whole movie story in a song.
Ekbar Eso transcends the traditional music video genre by fusing love, retaliation, and intense action. In this instance, the music serves as the primary narrative device rather than just expressing emotion. With dramatic turns, fierce conflict, and a potent conclusion all skillfully incorporated into the musical structure, the story develops like a feature picture. With the help of stylized action scenes, VFX, and contemporary visual technologies, the video provides a cinematic experience that is uncommon in Bengali or Kannada music videos.
The music has been composed by S. Gopal Moyra and Abhishek Nadu.
The lyrics for the Bengali version have been penned by S. Gopal Moyra, while the Kannada lyrics are written by Shilpa Nagoji.
The song elevates the narrative to a huge visual scale by striking a balance between cinematic intensity and emotional depth. Ishan Mazumder has sung the song in both Bengali and Kannada, demonstrating his versatility as a performer and adding to the project’s distinctiveness.
The development of a genuinely diverse artist is reflected in Ishan Mazumder’s path. He started his acting career in the movie Postmaster and has been involved in the Bengali film industry since 2016. He worked in the corporate sector for nearly 15 years, both in India and abroad, before transitioning into the entertainment industry. He made the audacious choice to abandon a secure career to pursue acting and music, which has since shaped his identity as a self-reliant creative force.
Ishan has made a significant impact on the South Indian music scene in addition to Bengal. He began his professional career in Kannada music while pursuing his doctoral studies in Bengaluru, and later won multiple reality shows. Being given the chance to perform the sole South Indian song ever recorded by renowned vocalist Kishore Kumar—in Kannada—was one of the biggest turning points in his career.
Ekbar Eso is more than just a music video thanks to its bold, cross-cultural experiment in action-based musical storytelling and its ambitious concept and cinematic execution. The initiative is positioned as a historic move toward altering the breadth and scale of Indian music videos, and the release is a momentous occasion for both the Bengali and Kannada industries.
