Sourav Ganguly Attends New Brand Offside’s Launch

With the announcement of the launch of its new brand, OFFSIDE, Annapurna Swadisht Limited, a fast-growing FMCG firm with a significant presence throughout Eastern India, made a calculated move into the urban and semi-urban consumer market. Sourav Ganguly, a world-renowned sports figure and former Indian cricket captain, has been a brand ambassador for the company since September 2025.
The official launch event of OFFSIDE was graced by Sourav Ganguly, former Indian cricket captain, Ritesh Shaw, Chairman & Founder, Shreeram Bagla, Director, Rohit Singhania, Chief Executive Officer, Chandan Ghosh, Independent Director, and Pawan Jaiswal, CFO, along with channel partners, distributors, and members of the media.

The occasion emphasized the business’s dedication to quality, innovation, and modern brand development.

Speaking at the event, Sourav Ganguly said, “Nothing is built in a day. You need to persevere to get what you want in your lives. That is true for companies, cricketers, journalists, politicians, and everyone else. Snacks are always preferred by all with a steaming cup of tea or coffee. I am no exception to this rule. And with such healthy snacking options available to us, it is indeed great news for the customers”.
Since its founding in 2015, Annapurna Swadisht Limited has grown to become a reputable brand for reasonably priced, high-quality snack products. Western snacks, traditional namkeens, quick noodles, fryums, potato chips, bakery goods, and confections are all part of its varied product line. West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and the Northeastern states are all part of the company’s extensive distribution network.

Through a strong network of more than 850 distributors, Annapurna Swadisht has successfully disrupted the unorganized snack sector, especially among rural and school-age consumers, with a presence in over 1.5 lakh villages and cities. Through constantly increased daily packet sales and reasonable pricing, the company retains considerable dominance in Eastern India’s rural marketplaces, even in the face of competition from pan-Indian rivals.
The company’s sales in FY25 were Rs 407 crore, representing a 54% increase from the previous year. With a 12 percent margin, operating profit was Rs 47 crore, and net profit was Rs 22 crore, representing a 53 percent compound profit growth.

The launch of OFFSIDE follows a series of strategic milestones like manufacturing expansions, portfolio diversification, and the acquisition of Madhur Confectioners in 2024.
