Srijan Group Enters Retail Industry With New Brand Srijan Style

Srijan Group, a prominent name in India’s real estate sector, has announced its strategic diversification into the retail industry with the launch of its new brand, Srijan Style. This move marks the Group’s entry into the high-growth “value consumption” segment of organized fashion retail.
The announcement was made in the presence of Shyam Sunder Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, Srijan Realty Pvt Ltd, Sanjay Agarwal, Managing Director, Srijan Mart Pvt Ltd, Keshav Agarwal, Director, Srijan Realty Pvt Ltd, and Gaurav Saraogi, Vice-President, Srijan Mart Pvt Ltd.
The Group has committed an initial investment of Rs 500+ crores to establish Srijan Style as a national chain. The expansion strategy is uniquely tailored to target Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 markets—regions identified as the primary drivers of India’s next consumption wave due to rising disposable incomes and increasing formal retail penetration.
Positioned as a comprehensive Family Destination, Srijan Style will offer a curated mix of affordable fashion and essential general merchandise. The stores are designed as high-efficiency retail units averaging 8,000 sq. ft., optimized for high inventory productivity and store-level profitability.
The brand’s merchandise strategy focuses on high-volume, fast-turn categories. Pricing is set competitively between Rs 99 and Rs 1,999, with a significant majority of the products priced below Rs 999. This “Variety, Value, and Experience” approach aims to serve men, women, and children across casual, formal, and ethnic wear.
The rollout will follow a disciplined, phased approach:
* First Quarter: Launch of 10 initial stores.
* FY 2026-27: Expansion to 50 stores.
* Initial Pan-India Goal: 1000 stores.
The journey begins in Eastern India, anchored by a flagship store in Gariahat, South Kolkata. Other confirmed locations in West Bengal include Bandel, Madhyamgram, Serampore, Bagnan, Sodepur, Murarai, and Asansol.
Shyam Sunder Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director of Srijan Realty, said “Emerging India will define the next phase of growth,” expressing confidence in the Group’s capital-disciplined approach”.
Sanjay Agarwal, Managing Director of Srijan Mart, emphasized the “data-led merchandising” that will drive per-store productivity.
With the retail journey supported by an estimated workforce of 1,800–2,000 employees, Srijan Style is positioned to become a major player in India’s evolving retail landscape.
