A deep spiritual call has made its way from the shores of Puri to Bengal as the world stands at a crossroads of rapid transition, searching for a sense of grounding amid the cacophony of contemporary life. The Shri Jagannath Vishwashanti Maha Yagya, a sacred flame that burned in the Treta and Dwapar Yugas and is now rekindled in the Kali Yuga to provide emotional and social healing, arrives as a historic continuation of the Vedic legacy in a time of fresh starts.

The Shri Jagannath Vishwashanti Maha Yagya will take place in Kolkata from April 17–19, 2026, at the FD Block, Salt Lake, as a historic continuation of the Vedic tradition.

The historic customs of the Puri Temple will be precisely reproduced for the first time in Bengal. This invocation will be led by Maharaj Shri Daitapati Bhabani Prasad Das Ji, a direct descendant of the esteemed Daitapati lineage.

The appearance of Lord Jagannath in 32 divine forms is the focal point of this three-day spiritual event. Seekers have a unique chance to see the Lord in all of His glory, which is typically only found in Puri’s inner sanctums.

This Yagya is fundamentally an invitation to all souls, regardless of their background or beliefs. The Jagannath Tilak, a special offering, is used in the ceremony to highlight Seva (service) and Dharma (righteousness).

The event, which is being organized by the Shri Jagannath Darshan Charitable Trust and the Sri Rajadhiraj Jagannath Trust, will also include Odissi dance, Mahaprasad Seva, and real Vedic ceremonies performed by knowledgeable Brahmins.
