The evergreen Paran Bandyopadhyay is returning to the big screen, this time in a spine-chilling yet hilarious adventure titled Saheb Rajar Bari. Directed by Surya Bhattacharya, the film is designed as a treat for younger audiences, blending elements of mystery, history, and wit.

The narrative follows Rajdeep, an IT professional seeking a quiet getaway with his family. His wife, Shreya, a popular travel vlogger, decides to skip the mundane tourist spots in favor of the enigmatic Saheb Rajar Bari. Accompanied by Rajdeep’s mother and their two curious children, Titli and Tojo, the family embarks on what they believe will be an exciting vacation.

The mansion once belonged to King Bibhuti Narayan Chowdhury, famously known as the Saheb Raja. Though renowned for his justice, three controversial decisions at the end of his reign left him burdened with guilt. Legend has it that his restless soul has haunted the palace for 300 years, waiting for someone to answer three elusive riddles.

Upon entering the mansion, Rajdeep’s family finds themselves trapped by the King’s spirit. To gain their freedom, they must listen to three stories and solve three mysteries that have remained unanswered for centuries. The film shifts from a travelogue to a high-stakes thriller as the family relies on the sharp intelligence of the two children to navigate the King’s tests.

Produced by Anjana Ghosh and Jeet Chakraborty under the banners of Shirsha Films and Way to Success, the film boasts a stellar cast:
