The use of new formats for storytelling is becoming popular in the current digital era. Moving forward, the upcoming vertical drama series Fairy Khel is expected to leave its mark. Dipankar Dey is the director of the series, which is produced by Soul Scenes. Shyamoupti, Oindrila Basu, Aishwarya, Rishav Chakraborty, and Souvik Bandyopadhyay are among the performers.

Oindrila Basu said, “Even the name ‘Fairy Khel’ carries a sense of magic, in reference to the series’ central concept. The plot centers on five characters who unintentionally become connected. The central theme of our story is the changes in their lives that aid in the resolution of numerous unresolved problems. The series comes to life with elements of love, conflict, playful moments, and separation combined with a hint of magic”.

“This project has been an entirely new experience for us. It was really difficult, but we worked together to develop the story and finish the ten-episode shoot in just two days. But it was made possible by the team’s commitment and the love among friends. Like our newborn baby, this is our own production—a fresh start,” added Oindrila.

“This is a project very close to my heart because the three of us have been friends for a long time. We had always desired to work together on a project. Through this project, we went beyond acting; we worked on sets, costumes, and editing, all of which were influenced by our own creative ideas. I’m thrilled about my role because it will give the audience a whole new perspective on me,” said Shyamoupti.

“Fairy Khel has been a wonderful experience for me. This project genuinely embodied the special positivity that comes from working with friends. There was some hesitation at first, but Oindrila’s bravery and vision enabled us to get past it. I knew I had to be involved as soon as I heard the story. The audience now has the final say after we overcame numerous obstacles to finish the project,” said Aishwarya.

Notably, Souvik Bandyopadhyay and Rishav Chakraborty have important parts in the series that deepen the story.

Fairy Khel promises to provide a novel viewing experience by fusing friendship, relationships, emotions, and a hint of magic. The creators hope that this series of vertical dramas will strike a chord with viewers and set a new standard for digital content.
