Stress Awareness Month 2026, which is observed worldwide every April, brought a renewed focus on resilience and mental health as stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion among students continued to rise. To commemorate the event, Annantaa worked with Calcutta Business School to organize an engaging and life-changing stress management workshop that aims to improve students’ ability to deal with both personal and academic demands.

Counseling psychologist and clinical hypnotherapist Ms. Madhuri Sarda and Ms. Vidhi Bansal led the interactive session, guiding students through a perceptive investigation of stress, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. The session, which was intended to go beyond traditional training, assisted participants in comprehending how their minds work and how they could intentionally transition from self-sabotage to self-mastery.

Students were encouraged to recognize limiting beliefs, decipher negative thought patterns, and develop confidence in real time through a combination of experiential techniques and psychological insights. The goal of the session was to provide students with useful tools to break negative thought patterns, change their inner narratives from fear to confidence, and improve their ability to think clearly and make decisions.

In addition to becoming more conscious of their emotional triggers and self-doubt patterns, participants also developed a deeper understanding of how thoughts affect performance and results. The workshop highlighted the covert effects of negative self-talk on academic achievement and personal development while delving deeper into the psychology of mind power and inner conditioning. To assist students in reframing thought patterns, transitioning from overthinking to clarity, and making significant internal changes, cognitive behavioral therapy-based techniques were introduced.

Through this program at Calcutta Business School, Annantaa reaffirmed its dedication to advancing meaningful discussions about mental health and going beyond awareness. The session effectively motivated participants to take proactive steps toward resilience, clarity, and confidence—truly embodying the spirit of #BeTheChange—by providing students with useful tools and emotional insights.
