Antaral will bring a fresh psychological mystery experience to Bengali cinema. College life, friendship, love, and the sinister realities concealed beneath seemingly normal relationships are the main themes of the movie.

Jiniya abruptly disappears on the evening of a college celebration, leaving no trace behind. The investigation gradually loses steam as the months go by. However, Aryan, who had intended to tell Jiniya how he felt that same evening, is not giving up. His unrelenting quest for the truth eventually reveals shattered friendships, complex emotions, and horrifying secrets concealed behind well-known faces.

The cast of the film consists of Subrata Dutta, Gaurav Ray Chowdhury, Priyanka Bhattacharya, Anindya Bandopadhyay, Riyan Ghosh, Debporna Chakraborty, Moumita Niyogi, and Payel Das.

Souvik Dey is the director of the film. Director Souvik Dey said, “Antaral is not just a story about a disappearance. It is an emotional thriller exploring silence buried deep within the human mind, guilt, and the invisible distance that grows within relationships. We wanted to tell a story grounded in realism that keeps the audience thinking till the very end”.

The story and screenplay are by Abhishek Bhattacharya.

The background score and music direction have been composed by Deb Sen. The songs feature vocals by Nachiketa Chakraborty, Silajit, Supratip Bhattacharya, and Atri Mukherjee.
