The Parivartan Welfare Foundation, the social welfare and CSR division of SastaSundar, formally launched CharityForHealth.org, a technology-driven platform intended to give free medications and healthcare support to impoverished communities throughout India, as part of a significant healthcare outreach initiative aimed at assisting economically vulnerable patients suffering from chronic illnesses.

Motivated by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision for Viksit Bharat 2047. Patients who struggle to pay for treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and depression are directly impacted by these CSR and charitable donations. The platform seeks to guarantee that healthcare assistance reaches verified beneficiaries without delays or leaks through a transparent and digitally monitored system.

Through a combination of digital health tokens issued by CharityForHealth.org and discounts on JITO Health Quality Generic Medicines via the SastaSundar App, eligible beneficiaries can receive medications worth up to Rs 500 as part of its first program. At no extra cost, medications are delivered straight to patients’ homes.

Through designated JITO Health Centres, the clinic and pharmacy network of SastaSundar, the platform has also introduced a comprehensive healthcare package that includes doctor consultations, diagnostic tests, and medications valued at Rs 1,500.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Abha Mittal, Managing Trustee of the Parivartan Welfare Foundation, said, “Our mission is simple: no Indian should suffer from a chronic illness simply because they cannot afford their medicines. CharityForHealth.org builds an open, technologically enabled link between patients in need and generous donors. We are appreciative of SastaSundar, JITO Health, individual donors, and our CSR partners for helping us realize this vision”.

According to the Parivartan Welfare Foundation, each donation made via the platform is digitally tracked and transformed into healthcare benefits for beneficiaries who have been verified, guaranteeing accountability, transparency, and quantifiable social impact.
