KMC Organized A Great Cleanliness Drive In Kolkata

As part of the larger goal of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, an initiative by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) recently organized the “Swachhta Se Swagat – Swachhta Hi Seva” cleanliness drive in Kolkata. To create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable India, Siddha Group supported the campaign’s efforts to encourage civic engagement, cleanliness, and sanitation. The drive took place on the section of Jawaharlal Nehru Road between Esplanade Crossing and Dharmatala Crossing.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has developed into a revolutionary movement that has inspired people, institutions, and organizations all over the nation to actively participate in keeping their surroundings clean. In addition to enhancing public hygiene and sanitation, the mission has encouraged communities to collaborate to create a better future for future generations.
In keeping with this goal, KMC launched the “Swachhta Se Swagat – Swachhta Hi Seva” campaign to promote cleanliness in public areas, raise awareness of sanitation and hygiene, and inspire individuals and groups to actively participate in maintaining Kolkata’s cleanliness. Through persistent community involvement and group effort, the campaign seeks to make every area of the city cleaner, friendlier, and more livable.

In support of KMC’s efforts to create a cleaner urban environment, the Siddha team, which included Mr. Aayushman Jain, Director, Siddha Group, participated in a cleanliness drive along a stretch of Jawaharlal Nehru Road between Esplanade Crossing and Dharmatala Crossing.
The campaign is a significant step in promoting the Swachh Bharat Mission’s ideals and raising public awareness of cleanliness. These kinds of initiatives show how citizens, organizations, and civic authorities can work together to create cleaner public areas and a healthier urban environment.
Siddha Group demonstrated its support for KMC’s initiative and expressed gratitude for the government’s and local authorities’ ongoing efforts to promote sustainability, cleanliness, and civic responsibility throughout the city by participating in the drive.
