At RICE Education‘s 16th Samabartan Utsav, over 4,000 students, alumni, and their families gathered at the Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre to celebrate the accomplishments of candidates who have landed jobs in a variety of State and Central Government services.

Successful applicants, current students, parents, and notable visitors gathered at the annual convocation to honor academic excellence and reiterate the value of commitment and public service.

Since its founding in 1985, RICE Education has spent more than 40 years preparing candidates for competitive exams such as the WBCS, SSC, Banking, Railways, Insurance, PSC Miscellaneous, and School Service. Since its founding in Belghoria, the organization has developed into one of the top government service exam coaching centers in eastern India.

With a cultural performance, the ceremony began, and then the ceremonial lamp was traditionally lit. The event was greeted by Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray, Founder Chairman of RICE Education, who also discussed the institution’s history and ongoing dedication to producing future public servants.

The Chief Guest at the event was Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, the Union Minister of State for Education and Minister of State for Development of the North Eastern Region, Government of India. The Guest of Honor was retired IAS officer Debashis Sen. Dr. Majumdar listened to the live broadcast of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat with students, faculty, and visitors before the official proceedings. Dr. Majumdar and Debashis Sen addressed the audience, discussing the obligations of public service and urging students to maintain honesty, self-control, and a steadfast dedication to nation-building.

The oath-taking ceremony, where current students and selected candidates vowed to maintain moral principles and professional integrity throughout their careers, was a significant aspect of the convocation.

Presenting cars to a chosen group of top achievers in recognition of their exceptional performance in competitive examinations was one of the event’s highlights.

The organization also recognized notable individuals for their outstanding contributions to society and public administration. Attending the program, several accomplished alumni spoke with current students about the difficulties of serving in government and how they prepared for competitive exams.

The convocation honored the tenacity, self-control, and brilliance of those who have accomplished this goal while reiterating RICE Education’s four-decade commitment to enabling young men and women to pursue careers in public service.
