Three Stars In The Sky Of Music- A Great Musical Event

Maniktala Sampriti held their event at Salt Lake’s Rabindra-Okakura Bhavan. It was the fourteenth year. The organization was founded by editor Kajalrekha Mondal. “Three Stars in the Sky of Music” was the program’s title. The program this year was held in honor of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, and Suman Kalyanpur, three exceptional figures in Indian music. The members lit the auspicious lamp to start the program. The program started with a dance to focus on harmony.
Aradhya Malakar sang “Tolo Chinna Veena” and later sang the song “Churaliya”.
Parna Sarkar Bhattacharya sang “Amay Tumi Je Vhalobesecho” and two other songs. Rupa Nandi recited poetry along with the song.

Vidushi Sutapa Basu sang “Maina Go” and “Dil Dibana”, and later, in a duet with Debashis Dutt, she sang “Na Tum Hame” and “Ye Raate Ye Mausam”.
Mau Sanyal sang “Amar Sapno Dere” and “Na Jeona”. Later, she sang the famous song “Ye Ladka Hay Allah”.
Samadruta Dutt sang “Kon Sagar Tane”, “Chyen Se Hamko Kavi”, and “Aaj Tettu Ae Tuk Thak”.
Rakhi danced to the song “Jiya Jwale”.
Sampriti Jana sang the songs “Lagja Gale” and “Akasher Chand”.
Sumita Dutt sang “Akash Ajanya Tabu”, “Aankho Se Yo Utri”, and “Hay Haye Pran Jaye”.
Rini Malakar sang “Kine De Reshmi Churi”, “Tere Bina Zia”, and “Dil Dibana”.

Renowned singer Shampa Kundu sang “Mone Karo Ami Nei” and “Chale Jaana Jaana”.
Rupa Nandi sang the unforgettable song “Mera Kuch Saman” after the poem.
Moushumi Saha started with a collage of Suman Kalyanpur’s songs, and later sang the Bengali and Hindi versions of the two songs “Ki Likhi Tomay” and “Fire Elam”.
The program ended with all the singers performing “Tora Haat Dhar Pratiga Kar” together.
A grand musical event indeed.
