A Special Initiative By Bangla ZEE5-World Cup Fun Carnival Rally
A World Cup Fun Carnival Rally was held by Bangla ZEE5, a leading OTT platform, to commemorate the lively and captivating spirit of the ongoing World Cup 2026. Along with other notable individuals, the rally was launched from Vivekananda Park in South Kolkata.
More than 1,000 football enthusiasts, members of various fan clubs, and artists from various social groups participated in the rally, which covered some important South Kolkata neighborhoods. The cast of the recently released high-action thriller Taarkata and the upcoming original series Prem Shots from Bangla ZEE5 joined the carnival to add glitz and entertainment.
The procession created an immersive, carnival-like atmosphere in the places it passed by, showcasing a vibrant fusion of cheerleaders, Chau dancers, and Dhakis. Some of South Kolkata’s streets were transformed into a venue where sports, Bengal’s rich culture, and its spirit of unity came together, thanks to the exciting performances and football-themed festivities.
