The evening’s host, Supreeta Singh, a well-known communications entrepreneur, publicist, and author based in Kolkata and founder of Searchlight Communication, greeted renowned actor/activist Bobby Chakraborty with her characteristic warmth and candor. NX Elit emphasizes comfort, style, and attention to detail in its 28 tastefully decorated Executive Deluxe, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe rooms as well as a large suite. Each floor has been given a unique color scheme instead of following a traditional design, resulting in a lively and revitalizing atmosphere. Renowned designer Vinoo Chadha created the interiors, which offer visitors a contemporary yet cozy setting by combining striking color schemes with elegant finishes.

Managing Director Raju Saha told Bobby that NX Elit was designed to provide five-star standards of quality and service in a boutique setting. Saha emphasized that every element of the hotel has been meticulously planned to guarantee an outstanding guest experience, drawing on his vast experience in the hospitality sector, which includes an eight-year stint at the Hyatt Grand Central New York.

Another big attraction at NX Elit is the food. The 2,200-square-foot, recently opened NX Kitchen has a sophisticated restaurant and a chic lounge. The restaurant offers a sophisticated ivory-and-gold décor with views of the Maa Flyover through large windows, while the lounge features a dramatic black-and-gold aesthetic with a striking cherry-red accented bar.

Corporate Chef Naresh Kumar oversees the culinary program, which features a menu that highlights a variety of international favorites, modern Indian cuisine, and creative fusion dishes. In addition to a wide à la carte menu, guests can savor buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, Indian classics with contemporary twists, and signature comfort-food sandwiches. Additionally, NX Kitchen is made to accommodate private parties and festivities.

The hotel’s ambitious expansion plans include the opening of a ground-floor café and a specialty Indian restaurant on the roof that specializes in contemporary tandoor cuisine.
