Suswasthya-Health Conclave was recently held at a city hotel by TV9 Bangla.

Gracing the occasion were Dr. Sharadwat Mukherjee, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal; Smt. Agnimitra Paul, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Government of West Bengal; and Dr. Indranil Khan, Hon’ble Minister of State, Department of Youth Services and Sports and Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of West Bengal.

Prof. Dr. Subir Chatterjee, the founder of Park Clinic in Kolkata, received the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Honor for his lifetime contributions to pediatrics and medical education, including the treatment and separation of adjoined twins.

One of the most renowned urologists in India, Dr. Shibaji Basu, also received the Lifetime Achievement Honor. Dr. Basu, who is one hundred years old, has treated thousands of patients, including soldiers and victims of the Bangladesh Mukti Juddho (Liberation War), and has made a major contribution to urological care.

Additionally, TV9 Bangla awarded Dr. Asok Ray with the Special Recognition Honor for helping impoverished patients in and around Asansol. Dr. Ray has devoted his life to offering reasonably priced healthcare, either at no cost or for a small consultation fee of just Re. 1. His altruistic work serves as an inspiration to both society and the medical community.

Dr. Shib Shankar Dey, Dr. Shishir Biswas, Dr. Chirantan Banerjee, Dr. Paban Mondal, Dr. Dayal Bandhu Majumdar, and numerous other hospitals and physicians received the TV9 Bangla Excellence in Healthcare Honor in recognition of their exceptional contributions to healthcare, unwavering commitment to patient care, and outstanding service to society.

TV9 Bangla Suswasthya 2026 is an homage to the medical professionals and healthcare facilities whose unwavering commitment to quality continues to protect lives and encourage a healthier future for Bengal.
