The inauguration of the India Global Grand Trade Fair (IGGTF) 2026 at Science City Ground, Kolkata, took place recently.

It was organized in partnership with CCG Marketing & Services.

Gracing the inauguration were Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Hon’ble Minister of State for Education, Government of India, Dilip Ghosh, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Agricultural Marketing, Government of West Bengal, and Dipak Barman, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Departments of MSME, Housing and School Education, Government of West Bengal, and others.

Over the years, IGGTF has evolved significantly in scale, participation, and prestige, cementing its status as a vital bridge for commerce. It serves as a powerful springboard where local enterprises expand their reach to broader markets, and national and international brands connect deeply with regional consumers.

The 2026 edition marks a monumental milestone, featuring an expansive layout of 300 fully air-conditioned stalls and a truly global footprint with exhibitors representing 17 states and seven countries. This vibrant gathering reinforces IGGTF’s standing as a premier business and consumer ecosystem, destined to deliver high-impact, meaningful outcomes for exhibitors, visitors, and stakeholders alike.

Hosted this year at Science City, IGGTF arrives at a pivotal moment as West Bengal gears up for its most vibrant festive season. The period leading up to Durga Puja stands as one of the state’s most critical commercial windows, marked by surging consumer demand and heightened economic momentum across all sectors. Positioning the event during this peak shopping season creates a powerful convergence of trade and consumer enthusiasm, offering participating brands an unmatched platform to showcase their products and engage directly with an eager market.

The India Global Grand Trade Fair will continue till 21st September.
