The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development (iLEAD) and Alliance Française du Bengale have formed a strategic partnership to encourage French language education and cultural learning for students, while also fostering broader cultural exchange and new opportunities.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the iLEAD campus in Topsia, Kolkata, signifying a key milestone in enhancing language and cultural education at the institution.

As part of the collaboration, the partnership will prioritize organizing French language instruction at iLEAD, helping students build language proficiency while also increasing their engagement with French culture and global opportunities.

“This partnership involves far more than just offering French language courses. It’s about providing students with meaningful opportunities and using the French language to open doors to a broader world. Learning French involves more than just grammar and verb conjugations; it opens doors to education, careers, commerce, culture, film, literature, cuisine, art, intellectual exchange, and creative expression. As sectors such as hospitality continue to expand, knowledge of French can become an important advantage for students seeking careers in management, marketing, hospitality, and other fields. Through this MOU and our partnership, we aim to deepen these ties and offer students not just the chance to learn a language, but also a fresh perspective on the world and tools to shape their futures,” said Mr. Marc Boudin, Director, Alliance Française du Bengale.

The initiative will also support cultural exchange programs and create new opportunities for students, offering them broader pathways for learning, involvement, and cross-cultural interaction.

The partnership between iLEAD and Alliance Française du Bengale is anticipated to offer students a more rewarding learning experience by combining language instruction with cultural engagement and international viewpoints.
