The Astor Kolkata launched its specially curated Durga Puja 2026 Festive Menu at an exclusive press conference, giving the media a sneak peek at the festive culinary delights awaiting guests during the city’s most revered celebration.

From October 15th to 21st, starting with the Panchami Dinner, the iconic heritage hotel will offer a grand Bengali festive buffet, honoring the vibrant tastes, customs, and cherished memories associated with Durga Puja.

Carefully prepared by the hotel’s culinary team, this festive menu honors the spirit of Bengali cuisine with a tempting array of traditional drinks, starters, main dishes, and sweets.

On offer are dishes like Gondhoraj Doi-er Ghol, Kaffir Lime Pora Anarash-Ada’r Sorbot, Mutton Pudina Seekh Kebab, Murgh Kasuri Tikka, Loitta Macher Pituli, Bhetki Macher Chop, Murshidabadi Paneer Ke Tikka, Soya Mochar Cutlet, Jamindari Mangsho Bhuna, Dhakai Kosha Chicken, Green Prawns Malai Curry, Shorshe Kancha Lonka Bhetki, Pabda Macher Tel Bori Jhal, Panch Mesali Tarkari, Chhenar Mohima, Kadaisuti Diye Dhokar Tarkari, Hing Pora Aloor Dum, Narkol Diye Cholar Dal, Mishti Pulao, Steamed Rice, Radha Ballavi, Tinkona Porotha, Butter Naan, Baked Mihidana, Chhenar Jelabi, Gondhoraj Sondesh, Kesri Ras Malai, Laal Doi and Risotto Rice Kheer Nairyel Diye.

The buffet costs Rs 1,799 per person and Rs 2,799 per person when alcoholic drinks are included.
