As Starmark Creative Production celebrated the Mahurat of its upcoming Bengali feature Jadukar Satyacharan, directed by Sayantan Ghosal, a new realm of magic, adventure, and mystery started to unfold.

The event gathered an ensemble headed by Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ritwik Chakraborty, Sabyasachi Chowdhury, and Ishaa Saha, marking the official start of the film’s production journey.

Conceived as a large-scale feature rooted in magical realism, Jadukar Satyacharan is presented by Partha Sarathi Mazumdar and Pallavi Prasad.

It centers around a magician and blends magic, adventure, and emotion into a richly imagined world. Prosenjit Chatterjee portrays Satyacharan, a charismatic, observant, and playful magician whose sense of wonder masks a keen intuition for the truth.

The Mahurat ceremony signaled the auspicious beginning of the film’s journey and was succeeded by the official unveiling of its Teaser Poster, providing the first visual look into the universe of JadukarSatyacharan. The reveal introduced Satyacharan The Magician, with Prosenjit Chatterjee appearing in a bold red cape set against a vast, atmospheric backdrop of temples, river ghats, boats, and flickering firelight, his imposing mystical aura dominating the scene.

The teaser poster establishes the visual atmosphere for Sayantan Ghosal’s film, creating a sense of grandeur, fantasy, and enigma, while intentionally withholding key details about the larger story.

Along with Prosenjit Chatterjee as Satyacharan, the film features Ritwik Chakraborty as Kaalbhairav, Ishaa Saha as Kankaboti, and Sabyasachi Chowdhury as Chandan.

Jadukar Satyacharan is a literary character, and his stories were written by Himadrikishore Dasgupta.

Sabyasachi Chowdhury wrote the screenplay for the film.

The Mahurat evening also held special significance for Prosenjit Chatterjee, as it preceded his birthday on September 30. To mark the celebrations, the team arranged a unique cake-cutting ceremony before the birthday, held on stage.

Now that the teaser poster has been revealed and filming is set to begin soon, Jadukar Satyacharan is preparing for a December 2027 release.
