Suraksha Diagnostics Limited has launched state-of-the-art MRI and CT imaging technologies at its Mukundapur facility, significantly boosting access to high-precision diagnostic care across the city.

The center has introduced the uMR 780 AI-enabled 3-T MRI alongside the uCT 780 160-slice CT scanner. Together, these systems aim to empower physicians with high-resolution clinical insights while transforming patient comfort during scans.

To address common challenges like scan anxiety, movement sensitivity, and loud machine noise, the new 3T MRI leverages AI-assisted Compressed Sensing (ACS) to accelerate scanning times. The inclusion of QScan technology substantially reduces acoustic noise, while flexible SuperFlex coils conform gently to the body for a customized fit. For clinicians, the system’s 3-Tesla magnet and deep-learning DeepRecon noise-reduction tools deliver crisp anatomical detail, aiding precise diagnosis and targeted treatment planning.

Complementing the MRI unit, the uCT 780 system introduces high-speed 160-slice cardiac imaging tailored for detailed coronary artery evaluation. Equipped with rapid rotation and cardiac phase-selection software, the scanner captures precise images of the moving heart to evaluate plaque and arterial narrowing accurately. Furthermore, its DELTA deep-learning reconstruction framework optimizes radiation dosage without compromising visual clarity, extending its high-resolution diagnostic scope to chest and abdominal assessments.

The launch event also emphasized the crucial role of preventive healthcare, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Clinical experts highlighted the importance of early symptom recognition, understanding family medical history, and securing timely clinical evaluations.

By integrating high-end diagnostic hardware with patient-centric innovations, Suraksha’s Mukundapur facility bridges technological advancement with real-world clinical needs, setting a higher benchmark for diagnostic care and patient experience in Kolkata.
