Tandhan Group, a 32-year-old diversified industrial conglomerate, unveiled an aggressive growth roadmap anchored by planned manufacturing investments totaling approximately Rs 460 crore over the next 12 to 16 months.

Operating across protective solutions, energy, textiles, and hospitality with a global footprint in over 25 countries, the Group aims to boost its annual revenue from Rs 650 crore in FY26 to Rs 950 crore in FY27. Midway through the current fiscal year, the company has already secured 40% of its FY27 revenue target. By March 2027, Tandhan expects a balanced revenue split of 55% domestic and 45% export sales.

As part of its strategic expansion, Tandhan is deploying Rs 250 crore into its textile division to increase capacity at its Bagnan denim facility by 40%—from 15 million to 21 million meters annually—alongside an adjacent spinning plant for backward integration. A further Rs 210 crore will go toward its polymer-based protective solutions division to scale LLDPE tarpaulins, greenhouse films, and UV-stable films by 40%. This includes doubling its domestic capacity in Howrah and establishing a new international facility, boosting group-wide workforce to over 1,800 employees.

“Our DNA centers on seizing opportunities in underpenetrated markets, operating with speed, and scaling sustainable portfolios,” said Mr. Anuj Jalan, Director, Tandhan Group. He highlighted how eastern India’s strategic port proximity and industrial ecosystem enable the Group to serve clients ranging from fashion giants like Zara and H&M to high-demand energy markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Alongside its high-margin energy division—which delivers solar EPC projects up to 1 MW and operates facilities in Nigeria and Bangladesh—the Group continues to champion ESG leadership. Its Bagnan denim facility recycles one million liters of water daily using a Zero Liquid Discharge treatment plant, setting a sustainability benchmark for eastern India.
