The stamp was launched on the auspicious occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Snana Yatra.
On this special occasion, the club took the responsibility of five kids from backward classes. They will be provided with financial aid so that they can complete their education. The kids who are studying in the lower classes will receive Rs 7000 quarterly while the kids in the middle school will receive Rs 10000 per quarter.
The theme for this year’s pujo of Gariahat Hindustan Club is tribal people. So as a precursor, the taking up of the responsibility of the tribal kids is a good start for sure.
