Narayana Hospital, Barasat, opened the region’s first dedicated allergy clinics. This clinic aims to address the allergy concerns of patients suffering from a variety of allergies while also improving the quality of life for people of all ages.

In addition to other ailments, the clinic will diagnose and treat immune system disorders such as allergies, asthma, and eczema. It will also use skin-prick testing to identify allergy triggers such as pollens, foods, and medications, as well as to help patients develop allergy tolerance.

This clinic will perform skin prick tests, which are not readily available in many other similar facilities, as well as supervise food or drug challenges to identify specific allergens.

Dr. Abhradip Das, Consultant Pulmonologist at Narayana Hospital Barasat, will conduct the clinic every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Speaking about the clinic’s inauguration, Dr. Das said, “An allergy clinic in Barasat was long overdue. I am pleased to announce that this clinic has opened today to better serve the people of the Barasat region. We will provide targeted, actionable care by accurately identifying triggers using comprehensive testing methods, as well as customized treatment plans that include medications and long-term immunotherapies, to help people live better lives”.

Mr. Subhasish Bhattacharya, Facility Director, Narayana Hospital Barasat, expressed his excitement about the clinic’s launch, and said, “On the occasion of World Allergy Day, we have taken the initiative of starting an Allergy Clinic, aimed at providing dedicated diagnosis and treatments to patients suffering from various allergies under the professional guidance of doctors”.

The launch of this Allergy clinic is indeed a great initiative to combat the different allergies of people and help them lead a healthy life.
