A Great Community Wellness Program On International Yoga Day

In collaboration with Decathlon, World Trade Center Salt Lake, the first World Trade Center in West Bengal and the Eastern Region, commemorated International Yoga Day 2026 with a community wellness program at Acropolis Mall. Fitness enthusiasts, shoppers, business professionals, and wellness-conscious people came together to embrace the transformative power of yoga and holistic well-being.
Renowned yoga instructor Parijat Das led a professionally guided yoga class at the event, which took place at the Atrium of Acropolis Mall from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The session attracted over 40 participants, demonstrating the increasing interest in and awareness of balanced and healthful lifestyles.
The program is a reflection of World Trade Center Salt Lake’s dedication to building meaningful engagement platforms and healthier communities that support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Beyond business and commerce, World Trade Center Salt Lake continues to support initiatives that promote sustainable and inclusive development as a global business ecosystem.
International Yoga Day is a timely reminder of the significance of holistic wellness in today’s fast-paced world, according to Subhadip Basu, Corporate General Manager – Retail & Hospitality, Merlin Group, who spoke on the occasion. The World Trade Center Salt Lake and Acropolis Mall sought to promote healthier lifestyles while offering chances for community involvement and engagement. He continued by saying that wellness is essential to a thriving and productive society and that programs like these foster both physical and mental well-being while fortifying ties within the community.
The event’s goal of promoting wellness and active living among citizens was further reinforced by the partnership with Decathlon. To raise awareness and encourage greater participation, a dedicated social media campaign was also used to support the celebration.
The International Yoga Day celebration is a component of World Trade Center Salt Lake’s overarching goal of supporting neighborhood-focused projects that improve people’s quality of life, promote sustainable lifestyle choices, and have a positive social impact throughout the area.
