On his birthday, actor, activist, and method acting instructor, Bobby Chakraborty launched his widely recognized, free anti-addiction campaign. With great assistance from the Principal/Director, Suman Sood, the Chief Coordinator, Abanti Chattopadhyay, and the Branch Incharges, Shulogna Sengupta, Sheela Mehra, and Ranjana Rarhi, it took place at B. D. Memorial Junior School this year. This was Bobby’s second session at this school and his 416th session overall.

With assistance from soldiers Ishayu and Archit, class 5 soldier Shreyaan Banerjee served as the session’s director of photography.

Together with Bobby at the podium, 10-year-old Shreyaan made a stunning debut as an “active soldier,” stealing the show with his witty, compelling, and motivational speech.

This well-known social awareness program, I AM THE KING OF MY MIND, is aimed at young people and is a preventive measure against various addictions, such as alcoholism, smoking, and smartphone use, as well as detrimental social trends, such as abusive language, online gaming addiction, inappropriate behavior on social media platforms to get views, and other behaviors that are ruining the next generation.

Almost all of the students/soldiers of “Bobby Dada” participated in this interactive motivational session, sharing their opinions on these societal evils and pledging to use the HCF (Health-Career-Family) formula to take care of their physical and mental health. With the mantra “I am the king of my mind,” they swore to control their thoughts in the face of these beasts.

Krishnasish was given the ceremonial title of “The 1st Soldier”. After a surprise competition, three soldiers—Krishnasish, Ishayu, and Deepshikha—were awarded unique presents and Community Service Certificates by their beloved Bobby Dada. The other winner, Shreyaan, is an active soldier.

Bobby’s birthday session was unforgettable, and Suman Sood gave an emotional vote of gratitude, praising his unselfish attempt to lead the youth toward light.

In addition, a lavish birthday celebration was planned, during which Bobby gave refreshments and cut a cake for each of his young warriors, whom he views as “part of his family”.

A grand celebration indeed!!
