Not Akaal Bodhan, but Akaal Bisarjan was observed by director Pavel. Along with the director, Saurav Das, Bong Guy aka Kiran Dutta, Satadbi Chakraborty graced the occasion. This was part of the promotions of the upcoming Bengali film Kolkata Chalantika.

The team engaged in playing the dhaak and played with abir. They also danced to the tunes of the dhaak and also danced with dhunuchis.

At the event, the trailer launch event date was announced. The trailer will be released on 30^th July.

Kolkata Chalantika is based on the under-construction Vivekananda Road flyover collapse on 31^st March 2016 incident. The story of the film will narrate the happenings of three days.

The cast of the film consists of Ishaa Saha, Rajatava Dutta, Saurav Das, Aparajita Adhya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Ditipriya Roy, Kharaj Mukherjee, Anamika Saha, and Kiran Dutta aka The Bong Guy.

Pavel said “The story of the film is about three days in the life of the city. The first day shows the normal life of the city. The second day shows the effect that the flyover breakdown has. And the third day shows the city getting back on its track slowly”.

Saurav Das added that going in the midst of the people and celebrating a part of Durga Puja was a special and enjoyable feeling. “Films are celebrations and Kolkata Chalantika is a celebration. The event was organized to announce the launch of the trailer soon on 30th July. Do watch the trailer” said the actor.

The film is presented by Baba Bhootnath Entertainment and presented by Satadru Chakraborty.

The film is eyeing for releasing on 25^th August.
