In the august presence of eminent Bengali poet Joy Goswami, Kobitar Kokshopath’s annual literary magazine’s second edition Alor Benu was released.

Joy Goswami lit the lamp before the launch of the magazine.

The poet said that poetry is the other name of fire. He has been writing all these years to earn but he praised those who write to pursue their literary interests.

Kobitar Kokshopath consists of 600 members. They are not only involved in literary pursuits but also engaged in different social activities as well. They are also engaged in developing short films. Kobitar Kokshopath is only in their second year. Biman Biswas and other members have already published their books at the Kolkata Book Fair. And that is a moment of great pride for Kobitar Kokshopath.

Alor Benu consists of 130 poems by 130 poets and six stories.

The write-ups have been penned down by old and amateur authors and poets.

The 136-page book is priced at Rs 200.
