For a very long time, oral health has been neglected, and it is quite concerning that numerous oral diseases, including dental caries, periodontal diseases, and oral cancer, are highly prevalent in India. In light of this, the 38th IACDE National Conference, a four-day event that includes several pre-conference courses designed especially for student delegates was organized.

The 38th IACDE National Conference was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. C.V Ananda Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Dr. Sukanta Majumder, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, and Dr. Dibyendu Mazumder, President, Dental Council of India, at Science City Convention Center & Complex, Kolkata.

With a focus on effective regenerative endodontic therapy, over 2000 participants from throughout the country and renowned endodontists from across the globe convened to raise awareness about conservative dentistry and endodontics. Throughout the conference, sixteen national and eight international speakers, who are the best in their professions, delivered over thirty scientific lectures, symposia, panel discussions, and demonstrations of various cutting-edge technology breakthroughs in the field.

The national conference saw a discussion on Direct adhesive technology for direct and Indirect restorations, Bio -Emulation – histo-anatomic analysis and dynamic light observation for anterior restorations, Crown root fractures-appropriate diagnosis, Dynamics of Advanced Restorations, The deep carious lesion-contemporary management along with the scope, opportunities and research avenues after MDS.

Apart from scientific presentations by delegates, quiz contests & poster presentations also took place at this conference.
