At the ongoing Lakmé Fashion Week in association with FDCI, Lakmé delivered its most recent skincare-inspired runway show in full force to the runway in collaboration with designers Pankaj and Nidhi. With the season’s trend statement, #ReadyForACloseUp, Lakmé emphasized healthy, glowing skin as the basis of beauty and wellbeing, ushering in the ‘skinification of cosmetics’ movement. The Lakmé 9to5 Vitamin C+ Serum’s vibrant colors, which embodied the life and energy of the Sun, included shades of green, horizon pink, purple, amber, yellow, orange, and orange-amber. The styled line combined wellness with aesthetics in a way that had never been done before. It brought the design team’s distinctive handwriting of 3D geometry and construction to life.

The Lakmé 9to5 Vitamin C+ line is a collection of cutting-edge, lightweight formulations created to brighten skin, improve skin health, and lessen dullness. It is a miracle potion for nourished, vibrant, and glowing skin since it contains the benefits of Kakadu Plum, the richest known source of Vitamin C and a potent antioxidant. The Pankaj and Nidhi X Lakmé 9to5 Vitamin C+ collection brings the vibrancy of the high-energy product line to life with diverse splashes of color. The collection’s aesthetics highlight the essence of the product. The figures emerged from the studio with an iridescent light, evoking the spirit of Solaris.

Signature Pankaj and Nidhi appliques made a comeback in the presentation, contrasting Indian decorations with Japanese kimono prints in new patterns. The appliques were sumptuous and tactile in texture, with holographic accents adding a hint of sparkle. Each unique item was created for the vivacious, spirited woman searching for contemporary craftsmanship. The exhibit successfully combined the practicality of skincare with modern fashion and beauty for the modern lady. It did this with the use of vibrant color bursts and fresh spins on classic components like the kimono.

“It’s been a lovely collaboration with Lakmé so far, and it feels immensely amazing to walk for my first skin showcase at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI,” brand ambassador and show-stopper Ananya Panday remarked.
