Surinder Films organized a special screening of the film, ‘Ardhangini’ at Inox, South City Mall.

Gracing the event was writer and director Kaushik Ganguly along with the cast and crew of the movie including Jaya Ahsan, Churni Ganguly, Kaushik Sen, Lily Chakravarty, and Ambarish Bhattacharya among others.

Can a relationship possibly be split into two halves? It is the question that the heartbreaking drama Ardhangini poses. The two ladies in Suman’s (Kaushik Sen) life—Meghna (Jaya Ahsan), his wife, and Subhra (Churni Ganguly), his ex-wife are forced to interact after Suman suffers an injury. The novel centers on the difficult emotional struggle between the two characters—in the past and the present—during a period of personal crisis.

“Ardhangini recounts a tale that focuses on the conflict between two ladies on an emotional level. Both Churni Ganguly and Jaya Ahsan will give emotionally harrowing, power-packed performances for the audience. They have the competent assistance of Kaushik Sen, Ambarish Bhattacharya, and Lily Chakravarty, all of whom are enjoyable to work with” said director Kaushik Ganguly.

Kaushik Ganguly has written both the script and dialogues of “Ardhangini”.

Chandrasish Roy is the Assistant Director. 

Gopi Bhagat is the Director of Photography.

The music is composed by Anupam Roy. Anindit Roy and Adeep Singh Manki are the Sound Designers. 

Subhajit Sinha is the editor and Tanmoy Chakraborty is the art director of the film.

Ardhangini has been released on single screens and multiplexes in the city.
