The essence of Iftar, a holy time that represents the spirit of charity, compassion, and community harmony, is at the center of Ramadan. Families and communities gather to break their fast together, sharing not just food but also their blessings and goodwill with one another. It is a beloved custom.

As a special endeavor as part of the ongoing Ramadan Extravaganza food festival in its restaurants, Barbeque Nation celebrated Iftar with disadvantaged children from NGOs across five cities: Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

Over 200 kids from affiliated non-governmental organizations, such as Building Blocks India and Hope for Life Foundation in Bengaluru, Robin Hood Army in Mumbai and Kolkata, Khushiyan in Delhi, and Hope for Life Foundation in Hyderabad, were treated to a cozy Iftar at Barbeque Nation eateries. The kids were enthralled with the Iftar Fest specials, which included Chicken Pakoda, Sheer Khurma, and other specially prepared meals. The involvement of Barbeque Nation regional team members and their families, who pitched in to help the kids have a rewarding and unforgettable time, was what made this event extraordinary.

“Ramadan is the time to nurture unity, compassion, and inclusivity. Barbeque Nation is known for its festivals, and sharing the Iftar meal with the kids was a great way to unite the neighborhood and promote happiness. With the Iftar Fest project, we are genuinely happy to bring the month-long Ramzan celebration to a close. By sharing a meal, warmth, laughing, fun, and music, it not only warmed these kids’ hearts but also enabled us to forge new bonds and create enduring memories” said Rahul Agrawal, CEO of Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd.
