Basabdatta Chatterjee was presented by Aakash Aath as the new host of their long-running and multi-award-winning cooking show, Radhuni. Additionally, RJ Debi Saha and RJ Shree Basu will be joining as the new hosts of this esteemed matinee program.

“Being affiliated with one of Bengal’s oldest cooking shows is an honor for me. After nearly 13 years in the industry, I will be returning to my origins with this initiative, having started as an anchor. Cooking is a fundamental passion of mine, and it brings me great joy to incorporate this passion into my career,” stated Basabdatta Chatterjee.

Since its 2008 premiere, “Radhuni” has been a success, airing over 5,000 episodes on television. The Woman Times Magazine has awarded this matinee television show, (which is directed by Ms. Pompi Mukherjee), the title of longest-running culinary show for the year 2021. This specific cooking program has a unique idea and presents the audience with a visually appealing display of just domestic food options.

The show seeks to teach viewers about the variety of delicacies that may be explored and appreciated while bringing unique yet straightforward home-based dishes that can quickly boost a food connoisseur’s mood. Until now, several well-known figures from the entertainment industry have appeared on this program in the roles of host and special guest.

This fifteen-year-old television program offers equal possibilities to foodies who care just as much about showcasing their culinary prowess on the big screen.

Basbdatta is seen hosting the program from the Holi Special episode of ‘Radhuni’ while RJ Debi Saha and RJ Shree Basu are already hosting the show from 18th March 2024.

Aakash Aath airs ‘Radhuni’ every Monday to Sunday at 1:30 pm.
