For continuous automated patient monitoring in non-ICU wards like Step-down-ICU, High-dependency units (HDU), VIP rooms, COVID, and general wards, Dozee is India’s first AI-powered contactless Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) & Early Warning System (EWS). The Dozee device, backed by the Indian government, has a clinical grade accuracy of 98.4% when tracking vital signs like blood pressure, oxygen saturation levels, heart and respiration rates, and patient temperature. Additionally, it monitors the patient’s quality of sleep while highlighting signs of sleep apnea. The remote monitoring technology from Dozee is quite efficient. 100 Dozee-connected beds can save 144 lives through timely notifications, according to an independent analysis by Sattva Consulting in public hospitals, and they can also cut nursing time by 80%.

By transforming its non-ICU beds into Step-down-ICUs, Belle Vue Clinic has used cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based contactless vitals monitoring technology and adopted Dozee’s remote monitoring system. This locally produced technology provides timely alerts to healthcare professionals regarding a patient’s condition, assisting in preventing serious emergencies. High-quality patient care will be provided by this contactless Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning System (EWS). It is the first hospital in the region to adopt Dozee’sNcBP (World’s First Non-Contact Blood Pressure) technology, providing increased patient compliance and ease of use.

At Belle Vue Clinic, Dozee tracked roughly 300 patients for about two months and generated nearly 980 crucial warnings that helped nurses and doctors prioritize their time while also enhancing patient safety.

In October 2015, IIT grads Shri Mudit Dandwate and Shri Parchani created Dozee, which is backed by the Indian government through BIRAC (Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council). Additionally, Dozee has filed for a number of patents that include the recognition and prediction of respiratory, cardiac, and neurological patterns as well as the in-depth analysis of vital signs to offer an early warning of health risks.

The Dozeesystem is ISO 13485, ISO 27001, IEC 60601-1-2, RoHS certified and CDSCO registered. And its USFDA 510 K is in process. Dozee also received the ISO 13485:2016 certification in December 2021, from Intertek for its Quality Management System (QMS). This certification is a part of the quality journey with ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Information Security Management.

With this technology, Belle Vue Clinic hopes to reduce the workload on healthcare workers who can monitor a patient’s vitals remotely.
