Bobby Chakraborty Encourages Young Minds With An Awesome Session
Bobby Chakraborty, an actor, method acting instructor, and social activist from Kolkata, India, enter the larger picture to prevent the ruin of youth with his free, internationally recognized program, “I AM THE KING OF MY MIND”.
One of the top schools in Midnapore, West Bengal, Vidyasagar Shishu Niketan, is where he had his incredibly inspiring session #419.
The session saw the collaboration of the administration of VSN and the socially responsible Principal Chanda Majumder, with Bobby, towards organizing this life-changing awareness program for the students of the 8th to 10th grades.
More than 600 students eagerly attended the event to absorb Bobby’s key life lessons, which included avoiding all ills that could harm their health and, consequently, their careers and families. They acquired the knowledge to rule their minds as kings. They discovered the dangers and shadows that await users of social networking sites, as well as the traps set for children who get quickly overwhelmed by virtual “likes” and lose any sense of self-worth.
Ankit Seth, a student at South End Centre Howrah in the 12th grade and an active soldier, volunteered in Bobby’s 46th session since he was in the 5th grade. With his stirring speech, he moved every soldier in the amphitheater to such an extent that they all touched his feet, including their cherished “Bobbydada”.
Together with soldier Noimisha, an eighth-grader, soldier Ankit served as the session’s chief photographer.
The highly significant title of “The 1st Soldier” was awarded to soldier Aniruddha, a talented artist, who gave Bobby a wonderful portrait of himself with the words “I am the king of my mind” written on it.
The winners of the surprise contest were Rupomeeta, Souparno, and Upamanyu, who along with Noimisha were given special prizes, customized HCF t-shirts, and community service certificates.
A great session for the youths of this country.
