The most widely observed occasion in China that marks the start of the lunar year is the Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival. The JW Marriott Kolkata encourages patrons to enjoy traditional Oriental Asian cuisine as they commemorate this year’s “Year of the Rabbit”.

From 18th January – 29th January 2023 at Vintage Asia, patrons can treat their taste buds to amazing dishes such as ‘Cantonese Poached Chicken with Sesame Sauce’, ‘Crab Meat Asparagus Soup and Fresh Red Chilli’, ‘Classic Sour Plum Roasted Duck’, ‘Truffle Edamame’, ‘Vegetable Truffle Gold’, ‘Buttery Tomato Fresh Basil Herb Noodle’, ‘Moon Fan Rice – Wild Mushrooms, Five Spice’ to name some.

The chefs have also crafted an A la carte menu to celebrate the spirit of Chinese New Year. Enjoy delectable desserts like ‘Frozen kaffir lime cream Bruleé’, ‘ Matcha Chantilly’, ‘Pistachio brittle’.

JW Kitchen offers a lavish buffet menu which includes a wide array of distinctive specialties like ‘Buddha’s Delight (Vegetarian lo Han Jai), ‘Clay Pot Chicken and Dry Chili in Star Anise’, ‘Singaporean Chili Prawn with Fried Man Tau Bun’, ‘Guangdong’s lo Mein or Laomian’, ‘Traditional Mandarin Chow Mein’, ‘Cantonese Poached Chicken with Sesame Sauce’, ‘Prawn Enoki’ to name a few.

The dessert menu consists of ‘Indonesian vanilla cream’, ‘Tapioca lychee jelly’, ‘Mango pate fruit’, and ‘Coconut crumble’ from 20th January – 29th January 2023.
