The trailer launch of the film Chegu took place in the presence of creative producer Pavel, actors Vinay Pathak, Sudipta Chakraborty, music director Souptik Majumder and others.

The story of Chegu is about a teenager Mansur who changes from a reckless young boy to a revolutionary.

Speaking at the event, Vinay Pathak said “This is my first Bengali film though this was released after Mitin Mashi. I had a great time shooting the film with such a talented cast”.

Sudipta Chakraborty said “It is a good thing that the film is been shown on MX Player. Had the film been released in theatres, I have doubts as to how many people will go to the halls to watch this film. It is better than it is getting released on OTT where the like-minded audience can watch the film and enjoy it”.

The cast of the film consists of Vinay Pathak, Sudipta Chakraborty, Ena Saha, Shantilal Mukherjee, Debranjan Nag, Varun Joshi, Chandan Sen, Ishan Burman, Arunima Halder, Ankit Biswas, and Mishka Halim.

Pavel who is the creative producer of the film urged the audience to watch the film and make it a success.

The film is directed by Nabamita Ghosh. “I am grateful for the chance that I have got. To direct my first film with such a talented cast of actors and a great story is wonderful indeed”.

Chegu has been produced by Jaspreet Kaur.
