The team of the upcoming Bengali film Kolkata Chalantika was present at Iskcon Temple, Kolkata. The presence of the cast like Saurav Das, Bong Guy aka Kiran Dutta, Satadru Chakraborty, and others led to the accumulation of about 25000 people.

A special sweet was made keeping in line with the film and this was offered to Lord Jagannath. After it was offered to Lord Jagannath, it was then distributed among the people.

Kolkata Chalantika is based on the under-construction Vivekananda Road flyover collapse on 31^st March 2016 incident. The story of the film will narrate the happenings of three days.

The cast of the film consists of Ishaa Saha, Rajatava Dutta, Saurav Das, Aparajita Adhya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Ditipriya Roy, Kharaj Mukherjee, Anamika Saha, and Kiran Dutta aka The Bong Guy.

The story of the film has been penned down by Pavel and Professor Swati Biswas.

The film is presented by Baba Bhootnath Entertainment and presented by Satadru Chakraborty.

The film will release on Mother Teresa’s birthday (26th August).
