Dupur Thakurpo is back with a third season with Phulwa Boudi. At an event organized in Tantra, the unveiling of the new Boudi was done in the presence of the assembled media personnel.

The role of Phulwa Boudi will be enacted by actor Flora Saini. In the first season, Uma Boudi was played by Swastika Mukherjee and Jhuma Boudi was played by Mona Lisa.

The story this time will feature Phulwa Boudi and seven new Thakurpos (brother-in-law).  The seven Thakurpos are very devotional towards Boudis. Batman is on the verge of getting married to a simple girl named Phulwa. He was under immense pressure from his father. But he is a devotee of a Boudi and has no interest in his newly wedded wife. But he knew that his friends are crazy about Boudi and decides to keep his wife in a rented house. He is trapped by a horny landlady Chopola who is a widow. The Thakurpos come to know about the Boudi and fantasises about her. However she has some different plans for her.

Jojo who has seen the previous two seasons of the web-series was excited to be a part of this show. “My look in the show is very different from how you see me. It will be very exciting for the audience to watch this web-series for sure. They will be in for a roller coaster ride” said the singer-actor. Jojo mentioned that she will not be singing any songs in the web-series.

Subho Pramanik is the director of the web-series while the music has been composed by Amlaan Chakraborti.

Flora Saini who had spent considerable time in Kolkata and also worked in Kolkata mentioned that she understood Bengali. Hence it was not a problem to understand the dialogues. The challenge that she faced was reaching up to the expectations of the people as they have already seen Swastika Mukherjee and Mona Lisa play the role of the Boudi with great conviction in the previous two seasons.

The cast consists of Jojo as Chopola, Palash Chaturvedi as Batman, Aniruddha Gupta as Dracula, Writwik Mukherjee as Money Singh, Sorbojoy Dey as Choddo, Ayan Bhattacharya as Dadu, Saumma Bhattacharya as Boka C, Joyprakash Pal as Mohito and Abhijit Guha as Jibon babu.

Dupur Thakurpo Season 3 will start streaming from Durga Puja this year!!
