Curator and owner of Twine Tales Sanhita De Moulik launched the Durga puja collection in their store.

The collection consists of a wide array of handcrafted sarees. The saris in the collection are a wonderful blend of tradition with modernity.

Sanhita De Moulik, the owner of Twine Tales said, “I am not a designer. Hence I cannot launch a collection. I am rather curating it. All the saris are made from natural fabrics. Powerloom is very popular now as it is cheap and one can get different designs easily. Compared to this handloom is a journey in itself. Hence we have been sourcing these lightweight and baby soft saris for the collection”.

Twine Tales began its journey in the post-pandemic period to help the Bengal weavers.

Apart from saris, Twine Tales also has on display an array of crafts inspired by nature telling the story of the art and artisans.

Rs 1100 to Rs 12000 are the range of the saris available in this Durga Puja collection.

The saris are sourced from weavers from Phulia and Katwa.
