The trailer launch of Pradhan was graced by director Avijit Sen, Dev, Mamata Shankar, Soham, Soumitrisha, Anirban Chakrabarti, and others.

The trailer gives the audience a peek into the life of the police inspector Deepak Pradhan. It also shows emotion, and amazing action and promises audiences an unforgettable experience at the cinemas.

Speaking at the event, Dev said, “The film Pradhan is a labor of love for all of us. In today’s times, films are completed quickly. After a long time, we shot a film for more than a month. It was a fantastic experience for all of us”.

Soumitrisha will be making her debut with Pradhan. She said “This is an amazing opportunity for a newcomer like me. Amazing artists are there in this film. I am glad that I could work with such artists whose films I have grown up watching. They never made me feel awkward. Instead, everyone was cordial”.

Anirban Chakrabarti will be seen in a negative role in the film. “I will be seen in a different role in Pradhan. For people who have seen me in my earlier works, they will seriously be surprised. This is a different character and the only bad person in this entire film. Let’s see whether people accept me in this character” said the actor.

Soham while sharing her working experiences said “Most people think that in this industry you cannot make friends. But Dev has been a dear friend to me. We may have not worked much but there is mutual respect between us. So when I heard the script, I immediately said yes. The film has an amazing storyline”.

Shantanu Moitra, Anupam Roy, and Rathijit Bhattacharya composed the songs for the film. The lyrics have been penned down by Anupam Roy and Prosen.

Pradhan is produced by Bengal Talkies, Dev Entertainment Ventures, and Pranab Kumar Guha.

The film Pradhan will release on 22^nd December.
