Just days before the release of the film Cheene Badaam, actor Yash dissociated himself from the film. The actor stated that due to “Creative differences”, he is dissociating himself from this project. After this statement by the lead actor of the film, different kinds of news and rumors spread. To address these rumors and to share their opinion, director Shieladitya Moulik and actress and the producer of the film Ena Saha organized a press conference.

“We are at the same juncture as the journalists. We cannot understand what went wrong and why Yash suddenly distanced himself from the project. He had worked in another of my film too. We all had a good time during the shoot of the film. What happened suddenly is making us perplexed very much” said the director.

Ena who is also the producer of the film got emotional in between the press conference. “I have never said anything bad about anyone. The same applies to Yash too. He is a good friend and I have been trying to contact him to solve this issue. But I cannot reach him. I am perplexed and emotional at the moment too. However, my mother always asks me to be positive in all situations. The show must go on. Hence we are continuing with the promotions and we will release the film on the slated date” said the actress-producer.

The director highlighted that they are not against Yash and the press conference was organized for addressing what really happened and for putting an end to the gossip and rumors doing the rounds.

Addressing the question of creative differences, the director said “We all gave our opinions during the shooting of the film. Then the best decision with respect to the film was taken. Sometimes Ena’s advice was taken, and it also happened that even someone else’s advice was given more prominence. The film was the main topic that needed to be handled well and we did that”.

Ena and the director stated that if the problems were resolved, they might work again on a new project in the future.

The film will release on 10^th June as announced by the production house Jarek Entertainment.
