Engaging Character Looks Of The Eken: Kerala-e-Kurukshetra Out Now

The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra first character look gives audiences a glimpse of the diverse characters who will be seen in Eken Babu’s latest adventure.

Set against the lush, distinct landscape of Kerala, the film adds a fresh visual identity to the beloved franchise, with each character sporting a look and personality that feels rooted in this new world.

From Eken Babu’s familiar eccentricity to a cast of characters who appear as intriguing as the mystery surrounding them, the first looks reveal an ensemble unlike anything seen in previous Eken films.
Anirban Chakrabarti returns as Eken Babu, bringing his signature blend of simplicity, curiosity, and understated sharpness to a Kerala setting. Bapi and Pramatha, played by Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Somak Ghosh, return with him, bringing their familiar dynamics to a completely new setting.

The new faces add a completely different flavor to the Eken universe. Ritwick Chakraborty’s Irfan Fazil exudes a sharp, composed presence, whereas Raima Sen‘s Dipa has an enigmatic quality that immediately draws attention. Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s Mihir Sen, Ambarish Bhattacharya’s Debesh, Arna Mukhopadhyay’s Ibrahim, and Subrat Dutta’s Sumanta each contribute their own distinct personality and visual character to the ensemble.

What makes these look especially exciting is how each character inhabits the film’s world in unique ways. The styling, silhouettes, and overall visual language convey a Kerala-based story while giving each character a distinct personality. Some are understated, some authoritative, some mysterious, and others immediately leave you wondering what their connection to Eken’s investigation might be.

The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra, directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and based on a story by the late Sujan Dasgupta with a screenplay by Padmanabha Dasgupta, transports the franchise to a new landscape and a larger world of mystery, adventure, and suspense.
The film follows Eken Babu as he takes on a case unlike any other, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, coded Harappan clues, shifting equations, and a conspiracy with far-reaching consequences.

The characters’ appearances provide only a first glimpse of this new world. With each face carrying a different shade and each look posing a new question, The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra promises a new visual chapter for Bengal’s favorite detective. Along with the character reveal, the main poster for The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra will be unveiled today, providing audiences with their first look at the film’s larger visual world.
