The launch of the song Boka Ghuri was graced by Prajna Dutta, Sayantani Guhathakurta, Sahil Phull, and others.

The song begins with a traditional bandish morphing into the beginning of the original song’s hook line and then begins the original Bengali song that finally morphs into a traditional Sufi song embracing love and surrender.

The entire arrangement borders on the fringes of lounge-driven electronica fused with both classical and pop influences.

The music video explores the idea of waiting for one’s beloved, during times of certainty with uncertainty and ultimately embracing the paradigm of love, beyond the physical form.

Prajna Dutta said “The structure of the song is interesting. It begins with a renowned Bandish and then melts into an original song. We have blended creativity with the original song. The song has been presented in a different manner and we hope that the listeners will love it”.

Sung by Anweshaa and Prajna, the original song was written and composed by Prajna Dutta.

The music video stars actress  Sayantani Guhathakurata from Calcutta and Sahil Phull from Bombay.

“I have worked with Sahil before. This is a romantic song that was released just before the Pujas. People will enjoy it” said the actress.

Sahil said, “The chemistry with Sayantani is amazing. I can understand what she will be doing in the next scene. Our chemistry will show on the screen and people will like that very much”.

The music video has been directed by Jiit Chakraborty, who has earlier directed feature films like Shesher Golpo and Kothamrito.

The music video was released on KLIKK App and KLIKK MUZIC YouTube channel.
