Bharat Sevashram Sangha organized a press conference to announce the various details regarding various services, preparations, and planning with regard to the upcoming Gangasagar Mela.

Every year, lakhs of devotees from different states of India come to the Gangasagar Mela.

To ensure that there are no bad incidents during the Gangasagar Mela, more than 1500 experienced swimmers and volunteers have been enrolled by Bharat Sevashram Sangha. Already, the volunteers are on their way to the Gangasagar Mela. Apart from guiding the devotees, they will also help them to complete their swim quickly.

In the waters, there will be about a hundred swimmers wearing life-saving jackets. They will ensure that people who are about to drown can be rescued at the earliest.

More than 5000 night stay accommodations, 200 toilets, and primary healthcare facilities will also be available.

Ambulance facilities will also be provided so that people can be taken to the nearby hospital if required.

More than 10000 devotees will be served meals during the Gangasagar Mela.
