The century-old French culinary arts and hotel management institution Le Cordon Bleu announced the expansion and fortification of its brand presence in India via the GD Goenka University LCB Campus.

In addition to commemorating the ten years of GD Goenka and LCB’s partnership, this announcement shows LCB’s dedication to India as a major worldwide market.

To satisfy the increased need for high-quality hospitality and culinary arts education, the comprehensive plan for India calls for tripling the number of students. This demonstrates how multinational brands in marketplaces around Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and other countries are recognizing and hiring Indian talent.

The facility will now include 50,000 square feet of technical training areas, housed within GD Goenka Education City, which is spread over 60 acres in Gurugram, in response to the increased demand for professional undergraduate and diploma degrees in hotel administration and culinary arts.

The installation of a Culinary Theatre, three new training kitchens, two new pastry kitchens, one new bakery, one more chocolate artistry room, and several student experience areas will help with the instruction and training of 500 more students.

With its global curriculum aligned with Le Cordon Bleu and its status as a Centre of Excellence, the LCB India campus will offer a plethora of benefits to both industry and students. These will include teacher and student exchange programs, global pathway possibilities, internships, and placements.

Students from LCB India will have access to designated articulation pathways that will allow them to transfer to Paris or other LCB campuses, providing them with chances for professional progression and exposure to a global learning environment.

Additionally, by facilitating faculty exchange and Management Development Programmes (MDPs), the alliance will promote a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth. Students from India will also gain from foreign academics from Paris visiting the school and adding valuable perspectives from around the world to their education.

Students from LCB India will also have the chance to intern with LCB’s partners in Europe and other regions, where they will be exposed to foreign culinary customs and receive essential practical experience.
