Eken Babu has returned, and this time he has traveled all the way to Kerala with his signature wit, curiosity, and distinctive investigative style.

The cast and crew of the movie unveiled the trailer for the film The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra, giving viewers their first in-depth look at a mystery that promises to take Eken Babu far beyond his comfortable surroundings.

Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the film stars Anirban Chakrabarti, Raima Sen, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Somak Ghosh, Ritwick Chakraborty, Subrat Dutta and Kamaleswar Mukherjee.

The trailer launch itself included a distinctly Eken-style dose of fun while adhering to the spirit of the Eken universe. Anirban Chakrabarti disclosed that some very special guests had been asking the same question since the day before—when would the Eken Babu trailer finally arrive—after the cast and crew interactions. Before the eagerly anticipated trailer was released, the young guests joined Eken Babu on stage.

The trailer, which was shown twice during the event, gave viewers a preview of the fascinating new case while preserving the humor, friendship, and contagious personality that have made Eken Babu such a well-liked character.

Anirban Chakrabarti said, “Eken Babu has always been a character who finds himself in situations that are much bigger and more complicated than they initially seem. Kerala-e Kurukshetra expands on that idea. There are many unanswered questions, mystery, danger, and, of course, Eken Babu’s unique perspective on everything. I believe viewers will enjoy themselves immensely as they attempt to solve this puzzle alongside him”.

“The world in which the mystery unfolds is what makes this film exciting. There are mysteries, surprising turns, and characters who all appear to be hiding something. It was a lot of fun working with the Eken team, and I believe the trailer only scratches the surface of what viewers can anticipate,” said Raima.

“The Eken stories have always managed to make a mystery entertaining without losing their sense of humor. This movie expands on that combination. The mystery is captivating, the scale is larger, and the audience has plenty to figure out. I’m interested to see how people react to it,” said Ritwick.

The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra releases regionally on 15th October 2026 and nationally on 16th October 2026.
