What better gift can be given to children on Children’s Day than launching a trailer for a children’s film?

The grand trailer launch of Haami 2 took place in the presence of director duo Nandita Roy, Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Gargee Roychowdhury, music composer Anindya Chatterjee, three new child actors Ritodeep Sengupta, Shreyan Ghosh and Aritrika Chowdhuri, Prosenjit Chatterjee, MLA Madan Mitra, and others.

Along with the celebrities, 200 students from different schools in Kolkata also graced the event.

The principals of different schools were felicitated at the event.

Young kids showcased their talent on the stage at the trailer launch event. A young girl performed on the drums while juggling tricks were performed by three young kids.

The trailer gives the audience a peek into a reality show. Laltu and Mitali go to a reality show along with their sons Bhepu and Chinu. There they meet a little girl. The story shows how a 7-years old prodigy can solve difficult problems in a few seconds.

Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anjan Dutt, Tnusree, and Kharaj Mukherjee will also be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

Speaking at the event, Prosenjit Chatterjee said “I will be seen in the role of a Santa in the film. Just like Santa Claus brings cheer and joy into your lives, I will also be seen in a similar role in the film. I had great fun shooting the film and I hope that the audience will also have a blast this Christmas when they watch the film”.

After watching the trailer, Madan Mitra said “Oh! Lovely. Haami 2 must be watched because laughter is the best way to keep one happy and healthy. This film will provide the right dose of entertainment and happiness for the people during the festive season”.

According to the director duo, this film is different from Haami’s story, concept-wise.  It will showcase some other problems that kids face and also project the innocence of friendship.

The film is eyeing for release during Christmas.
