“I love sequined clothes. The sequined clothes that I wore from the other brands became uncomfortable and itchy after some time. The actress was in Kolkata to inaugurate the 95^th store of Marks & Spencer in Kolkata at Forum Mall.

The brand has 95 stores in 35 cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Amritsar, Noida, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and others. They began their journey in India in 2001. Globally, the brand has over 400 stores and an online presence in 33 markets.

Also gracing the occasion was Ritesh Mishra, Managing Director, Marks & Spencer Reliance India.

“It has been my go-to shop for the last ten years. Be it essentials, formals, or party wear, I head straight to Marks & Spencer. The Party Collection that has been developed is fantastic. The brand’s lavender sequined collection is so beautiful. The material of the collection is so soft” added the actress.

The new store is spread across 12000 square feet and consists of two floors. This is the third store of the brand in Kolkata. It is however the first store in the East to display its Homeware collection along with the complete catalog of Marks & Spencer’s accessories, apparel, and beauty and lingerie collections.

“I love layers. Wearing a sweater over a t-shirt and then following it with a jacket is what I love. However, we do not get such fantastic winters in Mumbai. Hence I try this layered style when I got to work in cold places and wear them to my heart’s content” said Mouni with a smile.
