Indrani (Ankita Chakraborty) is an ex-surgeon and is currently the chief administrative officer in a city hospital. She balances her personal and professional life very well. She takes care of her in-laws in the absence of her husband. Aditya (debutant Rahul Ganguly), a doctor at the same hospital is an arrogant, indisciplined, straightforward guy who breaks all norms. Life takes an interesting turn when he falls in love with Indrani who is older than him. indrani rejects him but he does not give up. What happens next?

This is the story of Colors Bangla’s new serial Indrani.

The show is directed by Babu Banik. “This is a different story of a woman in today’s times. It is a mature story of a woman who has no love in her life” said the director.

The story has been penned by Kheyali Dastidar.

The other cast members of the serial consist of Soma Chakraborty, Bikash Bhowmick, Sambhabi, Sumanta Mukherjee, Arijit Chowdhury, and others.

Ankita Chakraborty said “I felt that the story and the character are very real. Characters like Indrani can be found in many families. Even though she is a working woman, she does not shy away from her duties. With this character, I will be able to narrate the real problems faced by women in our society now”.

The actress also said that the serials that are aired now only focus on entertainment and the audience does not take away anything from the serial. With this serial, the audience will be able to know something about what is happening in real society and also get solutions.

Indrani will air from 18^th July daily at 8 pm only on Colors Bangla.
