In 2021, the aim behind celebrating World Heart Day is to generate the power of digital health, to improve the awareness, management, and prevention of cardiac diseases. One must educate the people about the risk factors that can lead to cardiac diseases.

Age has just become a number in front of the increasing number of heart diseases. Heart diseases are not restricted to any age or condition. There are several heart problems like heart attack, blood clot formation, thrombosis, and others that can be fatal if not treated immediately.

The patients praised the doctors for their great services and the excellent facilities they received from BM Birla Heart Research Centre.

Dr. Simmardeep Gill, COO, CK Birla Hospitals said that it is important to take care of the heart. During the pandemic, like other hospitals, BM Birla was also crowded with patients with heart diseases. One of the reasons behind this rise in heart problems was the attitude towards routine checkups. As a result of this neglect, heart diseases were on a rise. Dr. Gill asked the people to continue with the preventive cardiac check-up routines.

BM Birla with its clinical expertise and state of art infrastructure facilities would continue to treat complex cardiac cases in the long run.
